casual 1890's Victorian in the charming little village of Montgomery
Center just minutes from Jay Peak Ski Resort. Our area is very
popular with cyclists, hikers, and snow-mobilers. We have just
undergone an extensive renovation with the addition of an outdoor
hot tub and gazebo, as well as the installation of LCD televisions,
telephones with free local and long distance, and high speed
internet ports in all guest rooms. As the owners of an antiques
shop across the street, we have furnished the Inn with an extensive
collection of country antiques to add charm and ambiance, while
the public rooms have brand new upholstered furniture on which
to relax in addition to the wooden antique pieces. All rooms
in the main house feature private baths, queen four poster canopy
beds, 600 TC linens, and Egyptian cotton towels. Rates include
a full gourmet breakfast and an afternoon tea around the baby
grand player piano. Our river front suites in a restored lumber
worker's cottage right on the Trout River feature full kitchens
and living rooms, and the carriage house suites feature jacuzzi
tubs and fireplaces. Enjoy one of our 4-course evening meals.
